Booking Information, Terms & Conditions

Terms

Weekly bookings are from Friday to Friday – although short breaks are available during off-peak weeks.

To allow for housekeeping arrival is from 4pm and departure is by 10am.

All bedding & towels are provided.  We include beach towels for your use and ask that other towels are not removed from the cottage.

​Smoking is not allowed within the cottage.  ​No naked flames/candles within the cottage.

Dogs – well behaved dogs are welcomed at Penty Myghal, please make sure that we are aware at the time of booking and please do not leave your dog unattended in the cottage.

Payment

Deposit – a £100 deposit is taken for each booking to cover damage, excessive cleaning or replacement key costs – this will be refunded if not required once the cottage is checked.  We know that accidents happen, so if a minor item is damaged, please let us know so that we can replace it for our next guest – if cost is minimal there will be no reduction of deposit return.

All bookings must be secured with a deposit of 25% - the balance (including refundable deposit) is due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel in excess of 6 weeks of travel – we will offer a full refund.

If you cancel within 6 weeks or less of your arrival date the claim will be 20% of the total cost of the holiday.

If you cancel within 5 weeks or less of your arrival date the claim will be 30% of the total cost of the holiday.

If you cancel within 4 weeks or less of your arrival date the claim will be 40% of the total cost of the holiday.

If you cancel within 3 weeks or less of your arrival date the claim will be 60% of the total cost of the holiday.

If you cancel within 2 weeks or less of your arrival date the claim will be 85% of the total cost of the holiday.

If you cancel within 1 week or less of your holiday the claim will be 100% of the total cost of your holiday.

In the unlikely event that Penty Myghal becomes unavailable and I have to cancel the holiday the holidaymaker will be entitled to a full refund.  No compensation or consequential losses will be paid.

We strongly recommend taking out UK travel insurance to cover you in case of your having to cancel your holiday due to illness (including but not limited to Covid), change in personal or work circumstance or emergency.
